Dr. Karelis is a graduate of the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in 1997. He has over 14 years of experience. He also completed a Fellowship in Chiropractic Rehabilitation and ACRB – American Chiropractic Rehabilitation Board.  

Dr. Karelis is also trained in Traditional Chinese Method of Acupuncture, which he received his training through CMCC. As a member of the Acupuncture Council of Ontario (ACO), he requires adherence to specific standards of practice and mandatory continuing education. Since he is a member of the ACO, most insurance companies recognize this council and have no problems with acupuncture therapy reimbursement.
